The infamous Love Boat scandal plagued Minnesota and Vikings fans for years, but now there is a new way NFL players are getting their serving of groupie love.  Ohh geez!  We all wish we could be professional athletes for numerous reasons, whether it’s the big balla money, the glamorous lifestyle, the fancy cars, big houses or the beautiful women.  What’s not to love?  Well, the Kansas City Chiefs star wide receiver, Dwayne Bowe is shedding light in this months ESPN the Magazine about the hidden world of NFL players and their shipping methods of groupies from around the globe.

Social media has taken the world by storm and let’s be honest most, if not all, of us have fallen victim to this amazing new cyber world.  Right?  Don’t lie!  However, no one has benefited more from this social media hurricane than professional athletes and in this case NFL players.  How though Mole?  Well, let me break it down for you Moley style.  For arguments sake let’s say that Ochocinco is looking through his Facebook or Twitter friends and sees an absolute babe that is following him.  He will initiate contact with the young lady, share some information, have a few laughs and after gauging her interest in the big 85, he would then offer to fly her out for a road game.  The process of recruiting women to be sex slaves on team road trips has now taken on the name of “importing.”

I know the one thing everyone is dying to know is whether or not the NFL player and groupie get freaky deaky.  Well, Bowe doesn’t definitively answer this in the excerpts that were released, but I can’t imagine the women are getting flown out to cities across the world to play Guess Who and Monopoly in the hotel rooms.  Well Thumper, it’s really mind boggling to think all athletes are this shallow, but clearly this is the case.  As Tiger Wood’s so elegantly put it after he was busted for doing similar activities, he said that he “felt entitled” to these types of activities.  Are we serious?  Get some pride people.  You are a professional athlete and role model for millions and millions of people around the world.  I guess self respect and pride are things taught in college and since none of these players ever attended class it doesn’t surprise me they don’t have any.
