Dwyane Wade Pulls A Lebron James

It’s nice to know that your favorite professional athlete doesn’t just cash his millions and sit on it, but instead gives back to the community, whether it be through charity events or camps for the youngsters.  However, it seems athletes these days are taking the phrase “Win at all costs” a little to literally as it was only a few weeks ago that we saw Lebron James dunking on a group of little boys at a camp he put on in Ohio (classy).  It appears that the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree as we saw this macho attitude rub off on teammate D-Wade during an event this past week in New York City at the World Basketball Festival.

Can you imagine the feelings, emotions and thoughts that would be flowing through your body if you got the opportunity of a lifetime to play basketball on the same court as Dywane Wade and Chris Paul?  I certainly can’t, but I would have to imagine it would be something of epic proportion at least until D-Wade blocks your shot not once, but twice.  C’mon Man!  This is supposed to be a fun event for all in attendance and instead Wade took it upon himself to steal the show and embarrass and humiliate a 10-year-old boy in front of thousands of fans. Sure, I understand it was done in a joking manner and it’s all fun and games, but at the end of the day it really wasn’t that funny.

You think D-Wade will find it funny this year when he’s driving through the paint and someone lays a nice little check on him while letting out a hearty laugh?  I don’t think so!  Remember Miami Thrice, you all put your pants on one leg at a time like the rest of us……the only difference is your pants are filled with stacks of hundred-dollar bills.  Soooooo damn you.
