Lebron An Idiot Not To Go To Knicks

With time ticking down until July 5th, when Lebron James is expected to announce his decision on an NBA landing spot, there are a billion reasons for the most coveted free agent in NBA history to choose the New York Knicks.  The Mole hopes that when the Knicks were giving their elaborate presentation to King James and his entourage, they included this little tid bit of information that was released by the marketing consultant company Interbrand that says:

“LeBron could earn close to $1 billion over his lifetime in salary and endorsements if he makes Madison Square Garden his permanent home–their high-end estimate sees him earning as much as $2 billion. That outshines the estimated $700 million he’d likely earn in Cleveland, the $690 million in Chicago, and $600 million in Miami.  An NBA title in New York could be worth $240 million to LeBron, about $60 million more than if he brought a ring home to Cleveland, and more than double the value of a Chicago championship”

At the end of the day Lebron James has made it very clear that winning an NBA Championship is his #1 priority, but we all know that he has higher aspirations to be the richest athlete in the history of sports as well as become a global icon.  If there is one place that makes these types of dreams come true, it is under the bright lights of New York City.  If  Bron Bron isn’t smart enough to see the perks of playing and living in New York City, then he should simply take a gander at the figures Interbrand posted (above) and that should be an idiot proof blueprint on why the Knicks are a no brainer.

I think it is foolish for the Knicks to take on Amare if they want to win an NBA championship. He is obviously very talented but I think that there are a lot of flaws in his game that won’t allow his team to translate to an NBA championship.
