Tiger Woods Sharing His Seed with PETA

Posted: March 5, 2010 in Golf

Tiger Woods life may be a constant rollercoaster ride these days with all of the turmoil surrounding his infidelity to his supermodel wife, Elin Nordegren, but that doesn’t mean people and companies should look to capitalize off his pitiful decisions, does it?  I think we all knew and expected that the late night talk show circuit consisting of Jay Leno, David Letterman, Jimmy Kimmel and Jimmy Fallon would be at the front of line to mock and make fun of the superstar golfer.  However, I think most people who know about The People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) were surprised to find out that this extremist group had a brilliant plan in the works to profit off Tiger’s idiocy!

PETA is currently looking to spread the word of the increased pet population by putting up a billboard that says, “Too much sex can be a bad thing … for little tigers too. Help keep your cats (and dogs) out of trouble: Always spay or neuter!”  PETA has to be salivating at the mouth as of late with iconic sports figures Michael Vick and Tiger Woods making monumental mistakes.

This billboard is in the works of being placed in Orlando, Florida somewhere close to where Tiger resides when not playing golf.  PETA has made several claims that the billboard is being put up “in an effort to take the focus off Woods’ personal life and turn the attention instead to the animals that are dying as a result of their unrestrained sexual activity.”  Either way, I look at this little debacle and I only see great things coming out of it!  First off, it will undoubtedly bring attention to helping lower the pet population and thus minimize the already over-populated pet shops and humane societies.  Secondly, we will continue to see an influx of comical jokes and skits at the expense of Tiger Woods, therefore potentially dropping him from his Mount Olympus-like status. Thanks Tiger for spreading the love!  Wait, was that joke to soon?
