Mullet Militia No More

 It appears as if the head of the Mullet Militia, Jared Allen has officially shaved off the long locks of luster (tear).  I know, I know let’s all take a few seconds to regain our composure as the end of a legendary era comes to a close.  The reason for ditching the mullet…….love!?  Yah, it made me sick as well to hear that, but as the Minnesota Vikings defensive end gets ready to be wed, he felt he owed it to his future wife to look somewhat normal for their big day. 

However, fear not fellow mullet lovers as Allen has promised to begin sprouting those “love” locks again once the NFL season approaches.  Phew!  To pay tribute and homage to the loss of a good hairdo, Jared had this to say about his fallen comrade, “The mullet isn’t just a hairdo. It’s definitely a lifestyle. You’re carrying on a legacy.  If I approach you from the front, it’s like, wow, that dude is pretty serious. Then I walk away and you’re like, damn, he likes to party. With two Rs.”  RIP Mr. Mullet.
